In the spring of 1953, the congregation of Shades Valley Presbyterian Church gathered together to celebrate their new sanctuary on a hillside in Mountain Brook. It was a gathering of divine joy. A light on a hill was lit. 70 years later, the congregation made the difficult decision to move, leaving the hillside for the next chapter. Today, a beautiful new gathering is coming to light.
